SymposiumThe symposium aims to bring together talented thinkers and experts from various disciplines – architecture, memory institutions, visual arts, anthropology, and other fields – to engage in an intensive exchange of experiences and ideas over the course of three days, with a focus on the liminality – its experience, actualization, and the need to recognize its importance in the context of current global crises, war, and change. The three-day program will  include discussions, lectures, talks, workshops, and master classes.
Approximate 
program framework:
Imagined Space
– encourages participants to imagine spaces that are currently lacking and that will be necessary for residents in the future (both locals and visitors). 

Parallel Voices
– focuses on the voices and echoes of Kuldīga’s present and past, examining how different groups of people coexist and live together in parallel spaces. This section will also focus on silenced or unheard voices.

Discovering the Known
– focuses on what already exists and coexists, yet goes unnoticed (or is ignored) in our daily lives. Here, attention will be given to those pages of history associated with an uncomfortable legacy – such as the legacy of the Soviet era – while discussing its role and place in the collective consciousness in the future.
